About This Project

AI is currently a very divisive topic, especially in Christian circles. People have feelings ranging anywhere to AI produces “slop” to AI is a tool of the devil. We, of course, here at Fear No Evil Ministries don’t take these same positions. Even if the devil intends to use AI for evil, we trust the Lord to use it for good. So that’s what we’re doing. We’re using AI to create music to start conversations, to lift spirits and to encourage people to interact with the Gospel more in their daily lives. We’re not making any claims about the quality of this music, because it’s all subjective anyway. We do, however, hope that what we’ve made gets your head banging, or at least your tow tapping. And if it gets you singing along, then praise the Lord!

100 New Gospel Songs: Day 14: He is Coming

100 New Gospel Songs: Day 14: He is Coming

So I know I'm going to lose some of you the heavier this album gets, but I hope you get the concept anyway. The book of Isaiah is rich with unheeded warnings, and so much of what he has to say just seems like this is the only way to deliver it. I just don't think...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day 13: Babylon

100 New Gospel Songs: Day 13: Babylon

So I'm not really sure why the Lord decided to put this album on my heart. I've never been one to linger in judgement scripture. It's honestly a concept I still struggle with. Even though I know that the Lord is righteous and well reasoned in destroying His enemies,...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day 12: From Adam to Eve

100 New Gospel Songs: Day 12: From Adam to Eve

This one is not for everyone. I wrote this song trying to put myself in the shoes of Adam after the fall. I don't claim this to be a teachable perspective, or anything of the sort. This is just my interpretation of how Adam might have felt looking back on all that...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day 11: In a Mirror Dimly (Acoustic)

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Ten: Can it Be?

This is another modern arrangement of a classic hymn, this one by Charles Wesley. I had never heard this hymn before I began researching classics for this project. I can imagine why I've never heard it during a worship service, as it's very long, but wow, what a...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Nine: A Time For Everything

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Nine: A Time For Everything

I'm a big fan of a lot of the music that we today call "oldies". Music from the 60s was still very popular when I was growing up in the 80s, which radio stations dedicated to the era going strong for decades. It's crazy to me today to think that when I was growing up,...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Eight: Eternally Secure

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Eight: Eternally Secure

I love this song. This is one of the first songs I produced that really gave me the confidence that I could really do some good with this project. Granted, most will not agree with me on that, but that's okay. If five people in the world hear this song and it brings...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day 11: In a Mirror Dimly (Acoustic)

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Seven: Papa Said

I'm really excited about posting this song. It was one of my favorites early on in this project, and a big departure from the other songs I had written up until this point. I wanted to write a song from the perspective of a son to his father, and it made me think...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Six: Amazing Grace

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Six: Amazing Grace

Okay, so this one isn't a new song, it's a really old song, but this is definitely a new version of it. In my humble opinion, Amazing Grace is the greatest and most relevant song ever written. The hymn, written by John Newton, was published in 1779, and mostly...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Six: Amazing Grace

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Five: You Are My God

During a particularly difficult time in my life, I could not get away from the book of Hosea. I remember there was even a moment during a prayer breakfast when the book was brought up by a brother in the group, and my pastor burst out in laughter, knowing how the book...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Six: Amazing Grace

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Four: Chase the Wind

So in my enthusiasm in learning to make music with this platform, there are definitely things that I would do differently if I went back to the beginning, but over my career as an artist I developed a philosophy about never going back and redoing anything I had done,...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Six: Amazing Grace

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Three: For Us

I think if I was to meditate on it, and really try to choose my favorite chapter of scripture, it would probably be Isaiah 53. It was foundationally impactful to me while I was still taking my first steps into faith. I'll never forget when I was first exposed to it....

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Six: Amazing Grace

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Two: The Distance Between Us

This is one of my favorite songs from my first full Gospel "album", The Faith EP. The concept behind this song is the humble perspective I'm trying to develop about my relationship with God, and with my Savior, Jesus Christ. In my secular life, I used to feel like I...

100 New Gospel Songs: Day Six: Amazing Grace

100 New Gospel Songs: Day One: In a Mirror Dimly

In a Mirror DimlyI wrote this song to interpret my understanding of 1 Corinthians 13. We often focus on the way of love in regards to that chapter of scripture, but just as important is the concept of our understanding of ourself. When Paul says that he now sees...
