In a Mirror Dimly
I wrote this song to interpret my understanding of 1 Corinthians 13. We often focus on the way of love in regards to that chapter of scripture, but just as important is the concept of our understanding of ourself. When Paul says that he now sees himself in a mirror dimly, it’s a wonderful reminder that, blinded by our own sin nature, it’s genuinely impossible for us to see ourselves as God sees us. We often fear that if we could, we would be horrified by what we would see, but we are so loved, what do we have to fear?
I hope you emjoy this song, and that it helps remind you of the Gospe. If you enjoy it, please share it.
