There’s a lie that’s been whispered into the hearts of too many believers—a toxic, tormenting thought that somehow, after all Jesus has done, we can somehow do something to lose our salvation in Him. That even after being born again, Spirit-filled, and sealed by the blood of Christ, we could somehow stumble our way out of God’s hand.

Let’s be clear: that fear doesn’t come from the Lord.
It comes from the enemy of your soul.

The fear of losing your salvation is not holy. It is not humility. It is not conviction.
It is demonic oppression, and it is meant to steal your peace, blur your identity, and paralyze your purpose.

You Are Not Your Own

The Word is crystal clear: “You are not your own; you were bought at a price.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)

When Jesus Christ saved you, He didn’t loan you salvation. He purchased you—completely. And what He paid for with His blood, the enemy has no right to reclaim.

When you were saved, you didn’t just change paths—you changed ownership. You became a vessel of the Holy Spirit. A temple. A dwelling place of God.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” – Galatians 2:20

Do you really believe that you can overpower that?
Do you truly think, in your pride, that you have the strength to rip yourself out of the grasp of Christ?
As if your sin is stronger than His mercy?
As if your weakness could ever overturn His sovereignty?

It’s not possible.

What About Blaspheming the Holy Spirit?

Yes, Jesus warned about the unforgivable sin: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:31–32). But He also told us why this is such a severe matter—because Satan cannot cast out Satan. A kingdom divided cannot stand.

That logic is crucial.

Just as Satan cannot work against himself, the Holy Spirit cannot work against Himself either. If the Holy Spirit is within you—dwelling, guiding, sanctifying—you are no longer in a position to blaspheme Him. You are His temple. His work. His vessel.

To believe that you could lose your salvation is to say the Holy Spirit could somehow betray Himself, abandon His temple, and allow His own seal to be broken.

That’s not conviction—that’s confusion.

The Lie of Finite Love

Pride tells us that God’s love must be finite. That maybe He’s just as fickle as we are. That if we sin too much, feel too numb, or struggle too long, He might give up.

But that’s a lie straight from the pit.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons… nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.” – Romans 8:38–39

You think your worst sin shocked the One who knew every detail of your life before He chose you? You think the cross wasn’t enough?

Stop letting fear lead you. Fear is not your shepherd—Jesus is.

You’re Not That Strong, and That’s Good News

This may sting a little:
You’re not strong enough to take your soul back from Jesus.

You’re not powerful enough to break His covenant, silence His Spirit, or undo His resurrection.
And thank God for that. Because if your salvation was fragile enough to be lost, you would have lost it already.

But it’s not. Because He is the One who holds it.

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” – John 10:27–28

Rest in the Truth

It’s time to silence the fear. Time to reject the lie that you’re always one mistake away from hell. Time to stop looking over your shoulder, wondering if grace has run dry.

When the devil comes accusing, stand up and say:
“You cannot overcome the Spirit.”

Because you are not your own anymore.
You are sealed, secured, and filled by the very Spirit of the Living God.
And once you’re in His hand—nothing can snatch you away.

Love Never Ends. How Could Salvation?
